Community and Socials
We pride ourselves on our unique community feel, offering a range of events that strengthen connection and belonging across campus.

Warwick Economics Society is the largest academic, student-run society at the University of Warwick, uniting over 3,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from more than 100 academic disciplines, all sharing a common interest in economics.
We are dedicated to promoting open access to knowledge, encouraging debate, and providing a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas. Our goal is to expose students to the depth and brilliance of economics as a social science — both within and beyond the classroom.
Our initiatives are made possible through the continued support of our valued sponsors, including Fidelity International, Charles River Associates (CRA), and the Warwick Department of Economics, alongside many others.
Throughout the academic year, we host a diverse calendar of events tailored to students of all backgrounds and interests. Highlights include:
-
The EconSoc Ball, welcoming over 300 attendees annually
-
Domestic and international tours, offering cultural and economic exploration
-
Panels, workshops, and case competitions, led by professionals and academics from across the field
-
Vibrant social events that foster lasting friendships and a strong community spirit within the society
Whether you’re looking to deepen your academic interests, build your professional network, or simply meet like-minded individuals — Warwick Economics Society offers a space for you to grow.
