TOP CAREER EVENTS
With the support of our sponsors and network, we organise frequent and engaging career events year-round to give our members real-world insights and valuable support. Our Spring week Panel and presentations with our Sponsors are perfect opportunities for members to network with professionals, engage with the society and figure out their next steps.
MEMORABLE SOCIALS
We offer our members a platform to meet, socialise and build their network through hosting a wide range of popular social events every term. Events, such as our exclusive summer ball, fresher socials and circling provide opportunities for students to meet like-minded students.
WORLD-RENOWNED SPEAKERS
Recent headline events include talks by, former governor of the BoE, Lord Mervyn King and institutional economist, Ha-Joon Chang, covering discussion on topics ranging from the economic fundamentals to the complex nature of models in the modern climate.
ASSUMPTIONS
Assumptions is Warwick Economics Society’s official magazine and blog, covering a range of topics including economics, finance and current affairs. Our blog is updated regularly with exciting and engaging articles written by our junior editors. We also publish a termly magazine, which is moving online this year!
